The National Collegiate Athletic Association, Turner Sports, Gray Television, and Tupelo Honey work with Hyvion to provide aerial solutions for the NCAA’s National Championships. Coverage kicked off November 20th, at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky with the Men’s and Women’s NCAA DIII Cross Country National Championships.
Hyvion’s flight team covered the men’s 8k and women’s 6k from start to finish, ending the day with aerial views of the national championship trophy being hoisted by Pomona-Pitzer and Johns Hopkins Universities. Founder and CEO, Zach Huffman, was on site for the event and commended the planning and execution of the flight plan.

Utilizing Hyvion’s university based partnerships, Faith Denig, a graduate of Ball State’s Drone Lab, served as pilot in command for the cross country coverage. Faith earned her Part 107 Certificate, served as an intern at Hyvion, and has remained one of the organization's emerging pilots throughout her tenure.
