Nike and The NFL Network soar with Hyvion




With the NFL Network theme song orchestrated in the background, the beauty of Nike’s World Headquarters was on full display as Hyvion’s flight team took to the skies for the Nike Kickoff Classic in Beaverton, Oregon.


The first-of-its-kind event featured two high school games, one being a women's flag football game and the other being a mens football game. Florida based Alonso and Robinson High Schools gathered in Beaverton for the women's flag football game, while Desoto High School from Texas and St. Augustine High School located in Louisiana made the west-coast trek for the men's football game.


Hyvion’s founder and CEO was on site for the production, “To be flying at Nike’s World Headquarters links our team's dreams with our vision for growth." Huffman had been given a copy of Nike founder Phil Knight’s autobiography “Shoe Dog” from a mentor when Hyvion was founded, "It’s a full circle moment to be on this campus, especially after being given Knights book and learning from his entrepreneurial drive.”

Hyvion’s flight team was tasked with capturing live aerials across Nike’s Campus and above Ronaldo Field during the broadcast airing on the NFL Network. With approvals from Nike and the athletic programs, aerial views rivaled cable camera coverage of the in-game action that typically is provided at much larger venues.



The field itself was decorated with “Bo Knows” stemming from the iconic Nike Campaign created in the 90s with Bo Jackson, the first athlete to be named an All-star in two major American sports, baseball and football. Aerials from the event featured the newly built Lebron James Center for Innovation, a spectacle of Nike’s sport research capabilities including 84,000 square feet dedicated solely to sports research.
